This Privacy Policy describes how Infyntech (“we”, “us”) processes information when you use the Infyn school mobile applications (“Apps”) connected to your school’s NetxSchool system.

1. Who we are

The Apps are provided to schools that subscribe to the Infyn / NetxSchool platform. Your school is the primary controller of student and parent data. Infyntech provides the technology service on the school’s instructions.

2. Information we collect

• Account data: mobile number, password (stored securely hashed on the server), parent name, linked student registration numbers.
• School data: attendance, fees, progress reports, notices, homework, transport, and other records your school maintains in the system.
• Device data: app version/build number for update checks; standard technical logs for security and troubleshooting.
• OTP / messaging: one-time passwords may be sent via WhatsApp when your school enables that feature.

3. How we use information

• Authenticate you and show your child’s school information.
• Send school notices, fee reminders, and leave-request updates you receive in the App.
• Improve security, prevent fraud, and maintain the service.
• Enforce school settings (for example, whether parent registration is allowed).

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Information is shared only with your school, service providers required to operate the platform (hosting, WhatsApp OTP where enabled), and when required by law.

5. Retention

Data is retained according to your school’s policies and applicable law. You may ask your school to update or correct student/parent records.

6. Security

We use HTTPS, access controls, and industry-standard password hashing. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

7. Children

The Apps display student information to authorised parents/guardians. Accounts must be created by adults with credentials linked to school records.

8. Your choices

• Sign out at any time from the App.
• Contact your school to unlink students or deactivate access.
• Uninstall the App to stop local data on your device.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
